Mission Leader Gathering

You don’t have to lead alone.

The Mission Leader Gathering is a curated virtual gathering of teaching for perspective and flourishing. The content addresses: “How To Lead Like Jesus in a Wolf-shaped World”.

We meet for ten live sessions during 2026. The content is a compilation of my Doctoral research helping mission leaders guide their people through stress and enculturation as God shepherds us.

WHY A MISSION LEADER GATHERING?

More than a webinar series. A community of missional leaders committed to flourishing.

In my thirties, I had swallowed the pill of expecting high-pressure, high-performance ministry experience. It felt that as a leader that I had to do great exploits and tell people what to do, ignoring their capacity and growth. Today as more “Christian” leaders and their habits have exposed greater emptiness, drift, and even predatory behavior, haven’t we all been seeking a more beautiful way?

We navigate both-and challenges. The need to raise people who live effectively and passionately for the mission is one side of the equation.  On the other side is the call to love our neighbors, all of them.

My hope for this community is that we can manage to personally meet with God and strengthen the fruit we bring to the world, especially through mission leadership.

OUR Curriculum

Leading our mission as Jesus did—in a wolf-shaped world.

We’ll work through four leadership modules during ten gatherings examine how God leads us through overwhelm to shalom and flourishing.  We will identify how perpetrators act, and how God’s people flourish in safe pasture. You’ll find support to help your people resiliently grow — and to expand your mission without burning out the people serving it.

Learn the conditions in which humans grow best – in delight. Shalom provides relational and psychological safety. It impacts rhythms and structures so people are resilient.

03

Leadership Threats in Our Day.

Unattended pressures and threats bring out the wolf in all of us. We will notice the patterns of perpetrators that erode the missional strength of our communities.

04
